Keyframe

A keyframe is used in the Animation Editor and is a point on a timeline that is assigned a specific value.

A keyframe is a point on a timeline that is assigned a specific value. When two keyframes follow each other with different values, the value changes from one to the other over the time between them, and that change is the animation.

In the Animation Editor, keyframes set the pan, tilt, field of view, and projection of a panorama, the camera position and camera mode of a 3D model, the position of a tracked hotspot, or the value of a skin variable. The keyframe’s type (linear, Bezier, continuous Bezier, or hold) decides how the value moves through it.
